Sony NEX Picture Effects

A few days ago I read about cool picture effects using the Sony NEX.
Unfortunately I could not find these picture effects on my Sony NEX 3. Then I found out that my Sony NEX uses the firmware version 1 – I bought it a year ago – and the newest version is 5.
Time to update! I was wondering why I did not notice that there have already been several firmware updates. So if you have bought your Sony NEX some time ago and never updated the firmware you should try updating it.
Just follow the link and download the version you need (Mac/Windows – NEX 3/5).
The Sony NEX is easily updated by executing the downlaoded program.

After updating you should have the possibility to select the picture effects in the Shoot Mode.
In the picture below you can see the part color effect.

Now you can try out the different picture effects – have fun.
